road trip days 3 and 4
Day three was more on the boring side, we drove from Chamberlain South Dacota to Davenport Iowa. This day was filled with hours of farm fields and empty rolling hills. In Davenport we stayed at a rather large hotel that thankfully had a restraunt in it. We all barely had the engery to make it through dinner before we all fell asleep crazy early. We woke up to rain that had fell constantly through out the night making it very humid out which is very unfamiliar to me. It must had been fate because day 4 was a day i wont forget. In a "blink and you miss it" city called Henry Illinois, was a half mile dirt track. My dad, who many years ago traveled with a flat track race team was excited at the chance to show me what a real vintage flat track motorcycle race was at the DAVEY CAMLIN MEMORIAL dirt track. living in canada we just dont have the oportunity to witness actual races with crowds that are shocking. It was awesome to meet some of the racers and team sponsers that i heard so many stories about from my dad. After a really fun few hours, we had to get back on the road. Im lucky to be able to say that i got to see and cross the missippi river. This river is huge and georgous.
We are finally in toledo ohio, its a relief but also brings anxiousness to hopefully get more answer. Today we were lazy and later this afternoon we hit up a mall to walk around and get much needed exercise. Tomorrow is my appointment with the specialist and i hopefully going in with positive thoughts will lead to a positive outcome. Fingers crossed for the best.
Hope all is good and everyone is well. God Bless.
