road trip day 1

crazy ? yes i think we are a little crazy for doing this adventure again but it defiantly is an experience worth the 12 hours on the road we drove today. finally after waking up at 4 am, im sprawled on my hotel bed writing. as far as traveling south in alberta, i havent gone past Calgary so today i got see a big chunk of alberta that i have not seen before. we have stopped for the day in billings montana. if you get the chance to come here, it is beautiful. green grass unlike at home, and billings sits in almost like a valley surrounded by naturally sculpted rocks that you could spends hours looking at. we drove past sections of land filled with windmills, they are amazing not only due to their size but they are very interesting to watch.
symptomatic wise, i felt good for the drive and didnt run into any problems but now we have stopped, i unfortuntly am not feeling so great but its expected with the amount i was on the road. im looking forward to a good nights sleep ! mom and dad are doing good but very tired and glad to call it a day.
the plan for tomorrow, chamberlain south dakota. i look forward to the adventure again tomorrow.
